Get to know the people at Desenio with Staff Art Selections, a unique look into how different people choose the art for their homes. Maya Lampert is our Regional Marketing Coordinator, originally from Canada, Maya has been in Stockholm for four years.
“For me, the most special art is personal and intimate, and infused with nostalgia and memory. When I choose pieces for my own home, I usually want them to act as time capsules, reminding me of different places and people that helped shape me.
“The tablescape prints pay homage to community and the ritual of coming together across different chapters of life. The Dreamers print reminds me of the novel and film Little Women, and the images of New York and Paris – one through a stark and realist lens, the other animated and whimsical – transport me back to moments I have lived there. Each piece is a window into a memory or feeling, and having them on my walls is a constant, meaningful reminder of my past.”
